1 Day Acuvue Moist for Astigmatism contact lenses include one of the highest levels of UV protection in a daily disposable lens, thus protecting the cornea and back of the eye. It also features Acuvue’s Lacreon Technoloy that creates a cushion of moisture that lasts, keeping the eyes comfortable throughout the day.

Astigmatic lenses feature two different powers a sphere and a cylinder power which have to be aligned at a certain axis in order to provide clear vision.

Many astigmatic lenses use gravity to help achieve alignment of the powers, contact lens manufacturers do this by “ballasting” or weighting the bottom of the contact lens so it sits in the correct position in the eye. However this design often has issues as it swings and rotates during wear dependant on the head movement, creating blurry vision.

1 Day Acuvue Moist for Astigmatism uses a different system to provide stable clear vision, regardless of the activity or head movement. Its design is call Blink Stabilisation and it relies upon the natural pressure of eyelids that interact with four zones of ballasting on the front surface of the contact lens. So every time you blink the lid pressure realigns the 1 Day Acuuve Moist contact lens providing clear, crisp vision for those with astigmatism.

Contact Lenses are classified as a threaputic aid and are governed by the TGA. To purchase contact lenses in Australia you need a prescription, your Optometrists name is part of this required verification. Your Optometrist will not be contacted by us.

Patient Name:*

A separate reciept is provided for each patient, regardless of the name that the actual account is held in, ie mother orders for son. Health Funds require a separate reciept for each patient, it’s important that the patient name matches the health fund member name for easy claiming.

Prescription Date:*

Your contact lens prescription should not be more than two years old. When you insert your prescription date it allows us to remind you to see your Optometrist prior to ordering so your prescription remains valid.
