Precision 1

Precision 1 daily wear contact lenses are manufactured by Alcon and feature SmartSurface® Technology — a thin, moisture-rich layer that helps keep the lens hydrated and comfortable for up to 16 hours of wear. Precision 1 lenses are designed for daily wear only and should be removed before sleeping and discarded after use.

Precision 1 lenses are the more budget-friendly alternative to Alcon’s premium Dailies Total 1 daily lenses, which also use water surface technology. The key difference between the two lenses is water content.

• Dailies Total 1 achieve nearly 100% water at the surface, creating a cushioning effect that can be particularly beneficial for very dry or sensitive eyes.

  
  

• Precision 1 lenses feature a surface layer with approximately 80% water, delivering excellent comfort at a more accessible price point.

  
  

If UV protection is important to you, Precision 1 lenses provide Class 1 UV protection, blocking a high percentage of UVA and UVB rays. While they are not a substitute for sunglasses, they offer an additional layer of protection for the eyes. Dailies Total 1 lenses do not provide the same level of UV protection incomparison.
