Blue Light contact lenses, Blusafe are designed to reduce the amount of blue light the eye is exposed to, as studies suggest over exposure can potentially cause eye strain, glare discomfort, headaches, retinal damage, and affect natural sleep patterns.

Although blue light is all around us, given it occurs naturally being part of the visible light spectrum, over exposure is becoming a concern due to our intense use of blue light emitting digital screens and LEDs.

Blusafe lenses are made from a soft hydrogel material and feature a blue light blocking rate of 400nm to 450nm, with a 8mm blocking zone. Blusafe lenses, can be worn for 30 days with removal and storage at night in contact lens solution.
