These daily wear contact lenses achieve one of the industry’s highest UV protection ratings, cutting out 98% of UVA and 78% Of UVB, therefore protecting the cornea from sun related damage. The UV protection within the Clariti 1 Day Toric lenses is not a replacement for sunglasses but should be seen as extra protection for the cornea, especially from bounce back reflections that can happen from the back of sunglass lenses.
