Dailies All Day Comfort Toric contact lenses have been a very popular over the years however Alcon will be discontinuing this product, in both the 30 and 90 box versions on the 1st June 2017. Stocks are already low in some prescription powers and once they have gone they will not be replaced.

If you have loved these daily contact lenses then you might like to switch to the Dailies AquaComfort Toric contact lenses by Alcon. They are a very similar lens that features an upgrade in design that improves visual stability and comfort. Like Dailies All Day Comfort Toric lenses, the newer Dailies AquaComfort Plus Toric lenses include more of Alcon’s AquaRelease moisturising agent that renews and refreshes the lens every time you blink providing up to 16-18 hours of comfortable wearing time.

For those with a -0.75 cylinder power as part of the astigmatic prescription the swap will be easy however, if your cylinder power is -1.50, it is recommended that you see your eye care professional to see if you should go up or down in cylinder power to meet the new lens parameters.
