Blusafe non prescription contact lenses feature a blue-Violet light blocking filter. This light is part of the natural light spectrum, it has a short – high energy wavelength and we are exposed to it mostly from the sun.

Digital screens and LED’s also emit artificial blue-violet light and for some this can cause glare issues, tired eyes and headaches. Blue light filtering glasses have been popular to reduce exposure to blue – violet light resulting in more relaxed comfortable, vision and now there is a frameless option with Blusafe non prescription contact lenses.

Blusafe contact lenses have a blue light blocking rate of 400nm to 450nm, this is around 20% which is deemed all that is needed to provide relief. they have no prescription powers just the blue light filter feature.

Blusafe lenses are a monthly hydrogel lens, each pair lasting 30 days. Lenses need to be removed every night and soaked in contact lens solution.
